How to Clean an Air Fryer Properly
The five-minute routine that protects the non-stick coating.
**After each use:** unplug and let the unit cool for 10 minutes. Remove the basket and inner tray, soak in warm soapy water for a few minutes, then wipe with a soft sponge. Never use metal scourers or abrasive cleaners — they destroy non-stick coatings.
**Weekly:** wipe the heating element (once cold) with a damp cloth to remove splatter. Check the fan cover for grease buildup.
**Monthly:** soak the basket overnight in warm water with a splash of vinegar to lift baked-on residue.
